Coles County Sheriff’s Office Announces Additional Inmate Tests Positive for COVID-19
The Coles County Sheriff’s Office is announcing that 1 additional inmate has tested positive for COVID-19. The new positive test is a result of all inmates and staff being given the opportunity to be tested on Sunday August 23rd. The inmate who tested positive is quarantined and is being monitored by staff.
We will continue to seek guidance from our local health officials on any new measures we can put in place that will continue to keep our inmates and staff safe and healthy. The health and safety of our staff and inmates has always been and will continue to be our top priority.
