It’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the American Red Cross encourages you to give blood or platelets to support kids, teens and young adults battling cancer, as well as others in need of transfusions. Your next chance to give the gift of life is tomorrow 9/1 from 9-1 at the Salvation Army in Mattoon, 12:15 to 6:45 at the Effingham Blood Donation Center, 1-6 at the T-town Banquet Hall, and from 2-6 at the Neal Center YMCA in Toledo.
Tuesday, 9/2 from 12:15-7:15 at the Effingham Blood Donation Center, and from 1-6 at First United Methodist Church in Pana.
Wednesday, 9/3 from 11-3 at Kemmerer Village in Assumption, 12:15-6:45 at the Effingham Blood Donation Center, from 1-6 at the Robinson Community Center, and 2-6 at Full Armor Christian Academy in Louisville.
