IHSA Lifting Mask Mandate On Competitors In Low-Risk Outdoor Sports

(Springfield, IL) — The Illinois High School Association is lifting the mask mandate for competitors in low-risk outdoor sports. The IHSA Board of Directors announced the change yesterday. In-season sports and activities affected by the new policy include baseball, softball, tennis, track and field, and bass fishing. Students must still wear masks when not actively competing.
