
Hundreds Remember FedEx Shooting Victims At Vigil
(Indianapolis, IN) — The Indianapolis community is remembering the eight victims of a mass shooting at a FedEx facility. Hundreds of people attended a candlelight vigil Saturday night, including state and local officials. The event honored the lives of 32-year-old Matthew Alexander, 19-year-old Samaria Blackwell, 66-year-old Amarjeet Johal, 50-year-old Jasvinder Kaur, 68-year-old Jaswinder Singh, 48-year-old Amarjit Sekhon, 19-year-old Karli Smith, and 74-year-old John Weisert. All eight were killed Thursday night when a former employee of the FedEx facility opened fire before taking his own life.
