Defeating Johnson County with a final score of 53-49, The Lake Land College Women’s Basketball team has earned the championship title in the NJCAA Division 2 series. This marks the first national title in program history for Lake Land College, and follows a record season for the Lady Lakers.
The Lady Lakers were coached to victory by David Johnson, now in his 19th year as head coach and social sciences educator at LLC.
