After defeating Johnson County 53-49 Saturday night, the Lake Land College Women’s Basketball Team became NJCAA Division II Champions. Last night’s victory marks the first national championship in program history.
The Lady Lakers are expected to arrive at 6:30 tonight (4/25). You are invited to come to parking lot A at lake Land College to welcome them home. A formal celebration will be announced for later this week.
The Lady Lakers were coached to victory be David Johnson, now in his 19th year as head coach and social sciences educator at LLC.
