The Coles County Fireworks Spectacular is this Sunday at the airport. Shuttle buses will begin running from the Cross County Mall (in the parking area of the former JC Penney store) and O’Brien Stadium at 5:00 p.m. If you do plan on driving to the airport, keep in mind that where you enter is where you’ll exit. As always, no pets, alcohol or personal fireworks will be allowed. Gates will open at 5:00.
