Illinois Dominates Northwestern
(Champaign, IL) — Bragging rights belong to the Illinois football team following a dominant 47-14 victory over Northwestern in Champaign Saturday. The Illini totaled 466 yards of offense and four touchdowns, finishing Bret Bielema’s first regular season as head coach of Illinois with a five-and-seven record. With the win, Illinois brings the Land of Lincoln Trophy back to Champaign after a six-year drought.
