NFL To Observe Moment Of Silence For John Madden
(New York, NY) — The NFL is going to observe a moment of silence before Sunday’s games to honor the passing of John Madden. He was a Super Bowl winning head coach for the Oakland Raiders in 1977 and became one of the most popular broadcasters in league history after coaching. Madden’s name is also used as the title of the NFL’s video game. Home teams will pause for seven seconds before the National Anthem in his honor.
