Michigan Panthers Name Jeff Fisher Coach

(Detroit, MI) — The USFL’s Michigan Panthers are hiring Jeff Fisher as their inaugural head coach. Fisher was a NFL head coach for over 20 years, losing in Super Bowl 34 with the Tennessee Titans to the St. Louis Rams. The USFL will start play in April after folding in the mid-1980s.
