NFC West Rivals Meet For Conference Crown

(Inglewood, CA) — NFC West rivals clash for the conference championship on Sunday when the San Francisco 49ers travel to face the Los Angeles Rams in Inglewood. The sixth-seeded Niners look for one more road win to get back to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years. Jimmy Garoppolo and company upset third-seeded Dallas and top-seeded Green Bay in the first two rounds to advance. The Rams knocked off the Cardinals and defending champion Buccaneers to move on. Los Angeles is seeking its second Super Bowl trip in four seasons, but like San Francisco, hasn’t won it all since the 1990’s. The 49ers last title was back in January of 1995, while the Rams’ only Super Bowl championship was following the 1999 season. The teams split their regular-season series, with each winning on the road.
