I-57 S/B and N/B are shut off from Exit 220 to Exit 229

UPDATED – THURSDAY, FEBUARY 3 AT 12:20PM:  Due to multiple crashes and poor road conditions blocking the roadway I-57 S/B and N/B are shut off from Exit 220 to Exit 229.  S/B traffic is being diverted to Monticello Road.  N/B is being diverted to US-45

Thursday, February 3, 11:15am, from the Illinois State Police:   I-57 at milepost 220 is shutdown again due to a semi crash blocking both lanes…..traffic is being diverted to Rt. 45 at Pesotum.
