Illinois Captures Big Ten Title With Win Over Iowa

(Champaign, IL) — Illinois is celebrating its first Big Ten Championship since 2005. The 17th-ranked Fighting Illini secured a share of the regular season Big Ten Title with 10th ranked Wisconsin last night by beating number-25 Iowa 74-72 at the State Farm Center. Illinois finished the regular season 22-and-8 overall and 15-and-5 in the Big Ten. The Illini will be the number-one seed in the Big Ten Tournament.
