UPDATE: Reports: Major League Baseball Lockout Ends

(New York, NY) — The Major League Baseball lockout appears to be over. Multiple reports say the owners and players’ association have reached a tentative deal for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. All signs are pointing to an Opening Day that would start one week late on April 7th. Reports say the first week of lost games would be made up during the season to complete a full 162-game schedule.
