Maura Healy Wins Massachusetts Governor Election

(Tallahassee, FL) — Maura Healy is the new Governor of Massachusetts. The Democratic candidate beat out her Republican opponent Geoff Diehl, and became the nation’s first openly lesbian governor. Healy has been the Attorney General for Massachusetts since 2014.
