(Bismarck, ND) — Democratic incumbent Tammy Duckworth is projected to win the race for Illinois Senate. NBC News reports Duckworth is fending off a challenge from Republican Kathy Salvi. Duckworth has served as the junior US Senator for Illinois since 2017.
