Registration is open for the annual Mattoon Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, which will be played Friday, June 23, at the Mattoon Golf and Country Club. The putting contest will start at 10:30 a.m., lunch is at 11:00, and the classic will tee off at noon. This year’s theme is “Life’s a Beach.” Register at mattoonchamber.com. If you’re not a golfer, you can still get in the cash raffle to win $2,000. Tickets are $10.00 each and are available at the chamber office at 1518 Broadway in Mattoon.
