Clark County Highway Department to Start a $1.9 Million Dollar Project
“On June 5th, the Clark County Highway Department will start a $1.9 million dollar project at 15 different locations on the Clarksville Road and 3 locations on the Angling Road. This project includes guardrail replacement, shoulder replacement and paved ditch removal. Most of the construction will be completed with one lane closure at times. A few of the project locations will require the road to be closed. The Highway Department will push to provide the least impact as feasible to the traveling public.
On June 5th, the Highway Department will start at a location on Clarksville Road just west of the I-70 overpass to 1500th street. Expect traffic delays in this area. Please keep your eyes open for flaggers, workers and equipment entering and exiting the work zone. Also, please be aware of other travelers!
We are aware this project comes at a time when IDOT has construction projects on Route 40 and I-70. With the help of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, we will do our best to inform you of important traffic impacts. We encourage you to use alternate routes if possible.”
