Coles County ROSC Council to Host “Fall into Recovery” Panel
In Celebration of National Recovery Month, the Coles County Recovery Orientated Systems of Care (ROSC) Council will host a community-wide Recovery Panel.
WHAT: National Recovery Month (Recovery Month), which started in 1989, is a national observance held every September to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the nation’s strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and communities who make recovery in all its forms possible.
The Coles County ROSC Council will host the “Fall into Recovery” panel to highlight National Recovery Month and promote that recovery from substance use disorder can have many pathways and learn about the many resources available in the community. Our featured panelists will include local community members, law enforcement, Substance Use Disorder Professionals, Peers in Recovery, and family members.
WHERE: Family Worship Center 411 Jackson Ave. Charleston, IL 61920
WHEN: September 28th 6-8pm.
WHY: The Coles County ROSC Council invites you to learn about recovery from substance use disorder and find recovery support and local resources. You will hear courageous testimonies of how recovery can and does happen. The panel is free and open to the public.
