Winter Read at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library
February 1-29, 2024
The Charleston Carnegie Public Library invites our adult community to participate in Winter Read, a reading/activity oriented program with chances to win some great prizes!
What is it?
A month long reading/activity oriented program. Read as many tittles as you can and/or complete activities to earn chances to win our grand prizes! Ages 18+ and you do not need a library card to participate.
How do I join?
No registration required. Submit your reading/activity that you have completed online at wwww.charlestonlibrary.org. Please call the Library for any help with submissions. All entries must be entered by 11:59pm, Thursday, February 29th. Grand prizes will be drawn on Friday, March 1st. Winners will be called and notified about picking up their prizes.
Enter each book title that you have read or any of the completed activities below (please do not repeat activities):
- Commit a loving act of kindness.
- LEAP (did you know it’s a leap year?!) into a new genre!
- Expand you understanding-read a book written by an African American author.
- Send your love with a letter to yourself, a friend, or family member.
- Try out our eResources: biblio+, Libby, and CloudLibrary
- Attend one of our Illinois Libraries Present prgrams this month.
