State Rep. Adam Niemerg: Arrogant leftist judge removes President Trump from the ballot
Dieterich, IL – A political activist judge in Cook County ruled today to remove President Donald Trump from the Illinois ballot, a move State Rep. Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) says is an affront to the duty judges have to uphold our laws and our Constitution.
“This is not about justice,” Niemerg said. “It is all about politics. Judge Tracie Porter knows – or at least should know – the efforts to keep President Trump off the ballot are fraudulent. Just because left-wing extremists have accused President Trump of being some kind of insurrectionist does not make it true. This ruling is a complete joke. In the end, this ridiculous decision will be overturned by the US Supreme Court, but it should not take the Supreme Court to stop the partisan efforts to use our legal process to deny voters the right to vote for President Trump.”
Niemerg noted the far left have done the same thing to him by challenging his petitions and forcing him to run as a write-in candidate.
“These woke activists will stop at nothing to gain power,” Niemerg said. “They know they can’t win in an honest election and so the only recourse they have is to use the ballot process to make it harder for their political opponents to win. President Trump is not backing down and neither am I. Republicans across the state will write-in President Trump’s name if they have to just like they are doing in my race here in the 102nd District.”
