Larry Lilly appointed Lake Land College Board of Trustees Member

The Lake Land College Board of Trustees appointed Larry Lilly, Mattoon, to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Mike Sullivan, Mattoon. The appointment followed closed session of the regularly scheduled March meeting.

Lilly’s term on the board will begin with the next regular meeting on April 8 and will continue until the next consolidated election in April of 2025.

Lilly is a Lake Land College alumnus, class of 1985. He began his career in teaching and later served as the Superintendent of the Mattoon School District from 2004 to 2020. He currently works as an educational consultant to mentor school administrators and coordinate career pathways programs. Throughout his career, he has served on a several boards to promote education, health, opportunity and economic development in local regions.
