Niemerg’s Steakhouse Partners with United Way of Effingham County in October Fundraiser

Effingham, Illinois – Niemerg’s Steakhouse is proud to announce a month-long donation campaign to benefit United Way of Effingham County. During October, Niemerg’s will donate:

$1 for every eight-piece chicken to go sold
•
$2 for every sixteen-piece chicken to go sold
•
$1 for every in-house chicken dinner served

All proceeds will support United Way’s mission to fund 19 local partner agencies that provide vital health and human services throughout Effingham County.

United Way of Effingham County works to address critical needs in our area. One in three county residents rely on services—from food security and mental health counseling to youth mentoring and senior care—provided by United Way partner agencies. Funds raised through the 2025 Campaign will help United Way reach its $300,000 goal, ensuring programs remain available for families and individuals in need.

United Way of Effingham County unites volunteers, donors, and community organizations to improve lives by funding 19 partner agencies. Through collaborative fundraising and targeted investments, United Way addresses pressing issues in education, income stability, and health, creating lasting change and strengthened families across the county.
