First Neighbor Bank Acquires Weger Accounting & Consulting, Inc.

Arthur, IL – First Neighbor Bank is proud to announce the acquisition of Weger Accounting & Consulting, Inc. located in Arthur, Illinois.  As of December 31, 2025, Weger Accounting is now First Neighbor Tax & Accounting. The addition of this business continues to add to the services that First Neighbor can offer in the Arthur community.

Current customers will see very little change with the accounting office that they are familiar with. Rick, Vickie and Jean will still be providing professional service as they have in the past and at the same location in Arthur.

First Neighbor Tax & Accounting currently operates out of three of our locations, Casey, Neoga and Charleston. The tax and accounting services that we provide mesh very nicely with what the Weger’s have successfully provided their customers over the years. First Neighbor Tax and Accounting is led by Donna Faulkner, CPA, located in our Neoga facility. Working alongside Donna is Tyndall Neibrugge, Donna Beals, Taylor Dasenbrock and Lydia Gentry. Our staff in Casey consists of Sami Reynolds, Tabitha Green, Jessica Dugan, Lori Wilson and Jon Flier. Our staff in Charleston consists of Bev Reisner, Sam Thomas, Kristi Ryan, Carlee Wallace and Chaney Thornton. Our existing staff will be available to support the Arthur team on an everyday basis, providing our Arthur clients comfort in knowing that their needs can be fulfilled at any time by many other qualified staff.
