The Effingham County Soil and Water Conservation District is taking orders for tree seedlings. White Pine, Colorado Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir and Norway Spruce are all available. The deadline to order is Friday, April 3, 2026. Trees are expected to arrive at the office by mid-April. For more information, call 217-347-7107, or look them up on Facebook.
