Illinois’ own Terry Prince, Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, has been elected president of the National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs, marking the first time an Illinois representative has held the post since the organization’s inception in 1947. Prince, a 31-year Navy veteran, steps into this national leadership role after serving as secretary, junior, and senior vice president in NASDVA.
