The annual Illinois Run for the Fallen returns to the Charleston High School Track August 19th from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Preregistration is preferred, but you can register the day of the event. This is a free, non-political event to honor and remember out Illinois service members who have fallen in Afghanistan and Iraq. You can walk if you prefer not to run.
