(Hawaii) — U.S. officials are confirming that North Korea launched three short-range ballistic missiles early Saturday. The U.S. Pacific Command says the first and third missiles failed in flight and the second “appears to have blown up almost immediately.” It’s the first launch by the North since it test-fired a missile last month that could reach parts of the U.S. mainland. That caused President Donald Trump to threaten North Korea with “fire and fury” if it continued launching missiles.
