One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident in Clay City yesterday. According to the Illinois State Police, the collisions occurred at the intersection of Route 50 and Main Street at 3:20. Beth Seals, of Ellery, failed to yield, leading to the accident involving a tractor-trailer driven by Norman Hesseltine, of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and a car driven by Billy Wyatt, of Parkersburg, Illinois. Seals was taken to Clay County Hospital, while the other two drivers refused treatment.
