The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for our entire Illinois listening area. It includes all of these Illinois counties: Knox-Stark-Peoria-Marshall-Woodford-Fulton-Tazewell-McLean-Schuyler-Mason-Logan-De Witt-Piatt-Champaign-Vermilion-Cass-Menard-Scott-Morgan-Sangamon-Christian-Macon-Moultrie-Douglas-Coles-Edgar-Shelby-Cumberland-Clark-Effingham-Jasper-Crawford-Clay-Richland-Lawrence and Fayette.

* VISIBILITY…A quarter mile or less at times over much of central and southeast Illinois.
* IMPACTS…Watch for rapid changes in visibility, which may impact your reaction time to traffic ahead of you. Be especially alert for school buses that may be stopped. Slow down and increase the distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
