One person was injured in an accident in Fayette County yesterday. According to the Illinois State Police, a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Jonathan Sandifer, of Greenville rear-ended a car driven by 67-year-old Norma Poore, of Smithboro. A passenger in Poore’s vehicle, 43-year-old Jennifer Ulmer was transported to Fayette County Hospital. Sandifer was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident and no insurance.
