U of I Freezes Tuition, Again, For Illinois Students
(Chicago, IL) — The University of Illinois is once again freezing tuition for Illinois students. Trustees yesterday approved what is the school’s fourth straight tuition freeze. U of I President Tim Killeen says he hopes that by holding the line on costs, students from Illinois won’t leave the state to go to college elsewhere. But while tuition will remain flat for in-state students, fees and other costs at the school will go up next year.
