Colorado Lawmakers To Consider Concealed Carry At Schools
(Denver, CO) — Colorado lawmakers will take on the gun debate this afternoon. House Republicans are pushing a bill that would allow anyone with a concealed carry permit to bring a handgun onto school grounds. Under the current law, only authorized and trained staff members can bring a gun onto school grounds. House Republican leader Patrick Neville is a driving force behind the bill. He was a sophomore at Columbine High School during the 1999 mass shooting.
