A head-on collision Monday evening injured three. According to the Effingham County Sheriff’s office, the crash occurred at the Effingham-Fayette County line on Route 128 when a truck driven by 22-year-old Michael Proctor, of Decatur crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Taylor Buzzard, or St. Elmo. In addition to the drivers, Proctor’s passenger, 49-year-old Kathryn Brelsfoard, was also injured. She was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. Proctor and Buzzard were transported to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
