A Watson man was airlifted to Carle Foundation Hospital after an ATV accident Saturday. Authorities say 26-year-old Drew Meyers was northbound on Funkhouser Road when he lost control and overturned. Both Meyers and his passenger, 28-year-old Leandra K. Meyers, also of Watson, were ejected from the ATV onto the roadway. Meyers was ticketed for careless operation of an ATV and improper lane usage.
