A Missouri man faces three charges following an accident near Effingham yesterday. According to the Illinois State Police, 44-year-old Ronald Fisher drove past a construction maintenance vehicle with an arrow board pointing for traffic to merge into the left lane. He continue eastbound where he struck a second construction maintenance truck driven by 25-year-old Benjamin Streeval, of Sherman, Illinois, with an arrow pointing for traffic to enter the left lane. Fisher was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control device, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and violation of Scott’s Law. Both drivers were taken to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.
