UPDATE: Gunman Shot After Opening Fire On Police At Trump Resort
(Miami, FL) — Police in Miami say a man who was yelling about President Trump exchanged gunfire with officers in the lobby of a golf resort owned by the President. Miami Dade Police Department director Juan Perez identified the shooter this morning as 42-year-old Jonathan Oddi of Doral Florida.
It happened at the Trump National Doral Golf Club around 1:30 a.m. this morning. Police found the suspect armed with a handgun and an American flag draped over a counter in the lobby. The suspect was shot several times and taken into custody. He’s being treated for his wounds and his condition is unknown. Police say the fire alarm was triggered in an attempt to lure officers into the lobby. One officer suffered minor injuries unrelated to the gunfire. An investigation that involves the FBI and Secret Service is underway.

UPDATE: Shots Fired At Trump National Doral
(Doral, FL) — Scary scene this morning at Trump National Doral after a man opens fire at the President’s golf resort lobby.
Miami-Dade Police Director Juan Perez says they are working with Doral Police, the FBI, Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies in this active investigation. He adds they were able to shoot the suspected gunman, who is expected to survive. An officer was hurt in the confrontation but no other injuries are known. The suspect was reportedly yelling obscenities about the President, who was not there at the time, when he opened fire.

Shots Fired At Trump National Resort
(Doral, FL) — One person is in custody after shots were fired at Trump National Resort in Miami-Dade. The shots were fired early this morning at the golf resort in Doral, FLorida. Doral Police say there were no known injuries, but a source tells ‘CBS4 News’ a man was hurt after being shot by police during a confrontation. It’s not clear how many shots were fired.
