Road Work to begin near Lerna

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on a stretch of road near Lerna beginning Thursday (6/21), weather permitting.  The Coles County Highway Department says work will take place from the east edge of town about four miles east to Lincoln Highway Road south of Charleston.  Both lanes will be open while work is not taking place.
