A 33 year-old Illinois man is airlifted to Carle Hospital following a personal injury crash along I-74 west at milepost 193.5. According to preliminary details from Illinois State Police District 10 on Friday, July 27th a Harley Davidson Motorcycle (unit 1) was westbound and being pursued by Vermilion County Deputies when it failed to stop for slowed traffic in a construction zone and struck the rear of a Jeep Cherokee driven by a 61 year-old female from Indiana (unit 2). The motorcyclist was air lifted. The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending at this time.
