Bridge work will begin Monday (8/6) on Illinois 133, two-and-a-half miles east of Lovington. The existing bridge carrying 133 over Jonathon Branch is being removed, and it will be replaced with a box culvert. To complete the work, the highway will be closed during the project. A marked detour will be in place to guide traffic around the road closure. The road will be closed from August 13th to October 12th, weather permitting.
