Usain Bolt To Make Soccer Debut
(Undated) — The fastest man in history plays his first competitive soccer game Friday and Usain Bolt says he’s nervous. The world record holder at 100 and 200 meters and eight-time Olympic gold medalist is expected to play ten to 15 minutes for Australia’s Central Coast Mariners. They’re playing a friendly against an amateur team and it’ll be a step in Bolt’s run toward realizing his dream of earning a playing contract and becoming a professional. The 32-year-old Bolt says his fitness isn’t where it needs to be yet. He said he expects to make mistakes and to push himself.
