According to the Illinois State Police, 20-year old Zachary Cohen, of Highland Park was northbound on the Dieterich Blacktop yesterday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle and slid into the path of a tractor-trailer driven by 30-year-old Brandon Barnes, of Mattoon. Cohen died at the scene. Barnes was transported to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.
