UA Cutting Workforce
(Baltimore, MD) — Under Armour is cutting about 400 jobs globally. The layoffs are the latest phase in the Baltimore-based sportswear company’s restructuring that began last year. The company did not say if and how it will affect the nearly two-thousand corporate workers at their Baltimore headquarters or the 800 workers in Maryland in stores and distribution centers. Last year’s round of layoffs included cuts at the Locust Point headquarters and a few stores and distribution centers in Maryland.
