A Strasburg teen was injured in an accident on Route 32 on Sunday. According to the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department, 19-year-old Hannah Schumacher was northbound when she came up on a tractor. She attempted to stop, lost control of her vehicle, entered the ditch and struck a tree and culvert. Schumacher was transported to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, and was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
