Red Sox Edge Astros To Even ALCS
(Boston, MA) — The Red Sox rallied for a 7-5 win over the Astros to even the American League Championship Series at Fenway Park. The best-of-seven set is tied at a game apiece. Jackie Bradley Jr.’s three-run double put Boston ahead for good 5-4 in the third. Andrew Benintendi and Rafael Devers had RBI singles in the first as the Sox jumped out early. Matt Barnes got the win and Craig Kimbrel the save. Gerrit Cole took the loss for Houston, which will host Game Three on Tuesday. Marwin Gonzalez hit a two-run homer and George Springer had two doubles and two RBI in defeat.
