(Fulton County, IN) — A 24-year-old Indiana woman faces three felony charges for reckless homicide after being arrested this afternoon. Police arrested Alyssa Shepherd at her workplace in Rochester. In addition to the felony charges she is also being charged with a misdemeanor for passing a school bus with its stop arm extended and causing injury. Four children were hit by a car allegedly driven by Shepherd as they were crossing the street to get onto a waiting school bus. Three of them, all from the same family, died. The fourth is 11-year-old Maverick Lowe who is in critical condition at a Fort Wayne hospital and not related to the other victims. The three who died are twin six-year-old brothers Xzavier and Mason Ingle and their nine-year-old sister Alivia Stahl.
