(Undated) — A pair of storms could make road conditions icy and dangerous for people going home after the holiday weekend. The first storm is predicted to bring ice and flooding to the East Coast, spanning from western North Carolina through western Maryland. Parts of Pennsylvania and southern New York could also be impacted by a mix of freezing rain and ice. The second storm is currently dumping snow on the Rocky Mountain region, spreading from the central Plains to Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. This storm is predicted to bring heavy snowfall to Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan by tomorrow afternoon. The National Safety Council says in 2017 Thanksgiving was the second deadliest holiday on the roads, trailing the Fourth of July.
