The Wisconsin truck driver who used a slingshot to shoot out windows of vehicles on I-74 has been sentenced to 2 ½ years in prison. 53-year-old Kevin Casey pleaded guilty to one charge of aggravated battery to a child under 13. Under a plea agreement, prosecutors dropped other battery charges against Casey. Illinois State Police say the incidents occurred earlier this year in Piatt, Vermillion, Champaign and DeWitt Counties. Three of the incidents caused injuries from broken glass. Casey was also ordered to pay fees and restitution. He received credit for 204 already served.
