(Washington, DC) — There’s still no end in sight to the partial government shutdown. On the sixth day of the shutdown, the Senate and House both held sessions for only a matter of minutes before adjourning for the weekend. Since Monday is New Year’s Eve, it’s looking increasingly likely that the shutdown will last into 2019. Democrats and President Trump haven’t been able to reach an agreement over funding Trump wants for a border wall.
