Million-Dollar Powerball Ticket Sold In Northern Illinois

(Springfield, IL) — Someone who bought a lotto ticket in Kane County is a million dollars richer. The Illinois Lottery yesterday said the Shell station in the small community of Gilberts in Kane County sold a ticket that matched five numbers in Tuesday’s Powerball drawing. Someone in New York matched all the numbers and the Powerball; that ticket is worth 294-million-dollars.
